Martin Kellerman
In 2018, Martin Kellerman put down his pen and ended the daily comic strip Rocky. In an extended interview by Nina Hemmingsson, he looks back on his life’s work and sums up 20 years through his alter ego. Collected here is the full life story, from the very beginning to the final strip. The book is a complete compilation of every Rocky daily comic ever produced.
Everyday problems, anxieties, and reflections on the times. Both the longing for love and the fear of relationships and starting a family. From beer-fueled nights at Guldapan to the quiet life at the cottage in Södermanland.
Martin Kellerman (b. 1973) is a Swedish cartoonist best known for the long-running comic strip Rocky. His expressive, diary-like storytelling blends American and Swedish underground influences, drawing inspiration from artists such as Peter Bagge, Robert Crumb, Harvey Pekar, Joe Matt and Max Andersson.
